Inspiration: Winter Landscapes

I was laughing today as we have the Christmas music on in the car, singing along with my boys to Walking In A Winter Wonderland.  The humor you see is more because Houston looks like it is October, with beautiful reds, yellows and oranges as the trees have finally change colors.  So today’s inspiration is the winter wonderland full of snow.  While it might only be a dream in Houston, I enjoy the scenes in the serenity and peace that it provides.

I love the simplicity, texture and almost whimsical touch to this photograph.

An Austrian Winter Landscape. I think nothing helps to define and bring out the variety of a town-scape like snow blanketing the roof tops.

Probably my favorite photos for this post. I love the slumbering lion from Paris. A perfect inspiration for this week - enjoy a moment of peace
